Donation of medicines to Misamis occidental
Bridging Hearts: The Long-Distance Collaboration between SNL and Misamis Volunteers

Suli Ning Lubao launched an emergency response initiative to help the people of Misamis Occidental during the flashfloods brought about by localized thunderstorm. With the goal of providing much-needed medicines to the affected communities, SNL was able to raise a total of Php. 9,600.00 through a call for donations in less than 24 hours.
The outpouring of support from individuals was overwhelming, and with the donated amount, SNL was able to purchase 15 boxes of doxycycline and 7 boxes of paracetamol. These medicines were urgently needed in the province and are crucial in helping the people of Misamis Occidental recover from the emergency.
To ensure that the medicines were delivered safely and efficiently, SNL coordinated with on-ground volunteers from Angat Misamis Occidental in Ozamis City. These volunteers were instrumental in facilitating the distribution of the donations to the affected communities. The group was able to send the medicines on December 29, 2022, and they are grateful for the assistance provided by the volunteers in making this initiative a success.
SNL would also like to express their gratitude to Atlas Care Pharmacy in Angeles City for providing them with the medicines at a discounted price and shouldering the cost of shipping the donations to Misamis Occidental. Their support was crucial in making this initiative a success, and the organization is grateful for their generosity.
The efforts of Ms. Ching Rodriguez were also acknowledged, as she played an important role in helping the group reach the kababayans in the south. Her dedication and commitment to this cause are truly commendable, and SNL is honored to have worked with her.
Thanks to the collective efforts of the donors, volunteers, and partners, the people of Misamis Occidental now have access to much-needed medicines to help them recover and rebuild their communities.
